We feel strongly regarding the importance of vaccination, and encourage parents to speak with a pediatrician regarding the risks and benefits of vaccines. We support the vaccine schedule provided by the CDC and the AAP, but understand and appreciate concerns parents may have.
If you have decided not to vaccinate your child or prefer alternative schedules, we will be happy to make our services available to you.
Our philosophy is that the decision to vaccinate is a personal one that should be made after hearing all the risks, benefits, and options available. No child should be left without a pediatrician as a result of their parent’s personal beliefs.
Vaccine Exemptions: we can ONLY provide a medical exemption if there is a contraindication to a vaccine according to the CDC/AAP/ACIP guidelines, or if a pediatric specialist treating your child specifies a medically sound reason why the child cannot receive a particular vaccine(s).
